EAT THE FLOWER is a place to explore women in film, art, music, and literature with a focus on the following elements: intersectionality, female protagonists, media made by women, accurate or complex portrayal of women, or the exploration of issues specific to women and gender.
E.T.F., simply, is a place to document those whose work I find interesting, inspiring, and thought-provoking. Sometimes it's a place to share a song by an artist I've only just discovered. Sometimes it's a place for me to talk about my favourite novels, or a selection of stills from a movie.
I believe it's important to purposefully seek out art that is made by people of diverse genders and ethnicities. I hope E.T.F. will help you discover these voices.
